It can also be suspended with a bracket or lid you provide over the top of the aquarium. It works continuously to provide 50 W of cooling power. A Temperature Controller, available separately, is required to regulate cooling to the desired temperature. One unit can cool 10 gallons of water 6-8F below ambient air temperature, and multiple units can be used to achieve higher temperature differentials. It works with both fresh and saltwater setups.
