Terperature Controler for Ice Probe Aquarium Chiller 65-85 degrees

March 17th, 2008 . by admin

Designed to highlight fundamental science concepts without the use of expensive reagants and equipment, DNA Depot kits provide all the necessary materials and instructions to complete a hands-on experiment focusing on a specific topic or technique within genetics. Any extraneous items required are common household products readily available in your school supply room. As students work through each project, theyll come away with a greater understanding of DNA and the importance of its role. All experiments are created and classroom tested by teachers and science education experts, to ensure the activities are engaging, effective, and instructional. Each kit includes an experiment guide with background information, procedures, safety recommendations, and an evaluation quiz. Economical and easy to use, the DNA Depot kits are ideal for individual student use, classroom demonstrations, and science fair projects. — With its compact size, quiet operation, threaded probe, and included nylon nut and silicone gasket, the IceProbe can be bulkheaded in any orientation through a hole drilled into siphon overflows, prefilters, sumps, or aquarium walls. It can also be suspended with a bracket or lid you provide over the top of the aquarium. It works continuously to provide 50 W of cooling power. A Temperature Controller, available separately, is required to regulate cooling to the desired temperature. One unit can cool 10 gallons of water 6-8F below ambient air temperature, and multiple units can be used to achieve higher temperature differentials. It works with both fresh and saltwater setups. It comes with a 12 VDC power converter with two 6′ cords on either side. Size: 4 3/4″W x 4 3/4″D x 7 1/4″L with 3 1/8″ interior clearance and 4″ exterior clearance when mounted.
