Wire Tie Kit, 650 Pieces, Assorted Colors

March 18th, 2008 . by admin

Great for Cable Management! — Dubbed the “problem solvers,” the Wire Tie Kit has wire “zip” ties that are great for cable management and many other uses. The ties can even be “zipped” together to make longer lengths. — The wire ties have smooth, rounded edges that do not cut insulation - or hands - and are comfortable to work with. — They have closely spaced positive-locking teeth that allow for fine adjustment to tie bundles of all sizes. — The kit contains no metal parts; instead, strength and durability are attained by having the head and pawl integrally molded. And best of all, the self-locking, one-piece, low-profile head conserves space. — The wire ties are made of general purpose nylon 6/6 and are suitable for use in most practical applications at a continuous temperature of up to 150F. Nylon 6/6 is the grade most often used for cable tie production and meets UL 94V-2 flammability ratings. Its working temperature range is from 40F to 185 F. — — This assortment pack of 650 ties features several colors, including UV Black, which is resistant to UV sun damage, and several sizes including 4″, 8″ and 11″. Tensile strength meets or exceeds military spec MIL-S-23190.

Snap Circuit Upgrade Kit

March 17th, 2008 . by admin

Upgrades SC-100 Snap Circuits Jr. to — SC-300 Snap Circuits adding Over 200 Experiments. — The snap circuit kit uses building blocks with snaps to build the different electrical and electronic circuits in the projects. Each block has a function: there are switch blocks, lamp blocks, battery blocks, etc. — These blocks are in different colors and have numbers on them so that you can easily identify them. The circuit you will build is shown in color and numbers, identifying the blocks that you will use and snap together to form a circuit. — This Upgrade Kit takes the SC-100 Snap Circuit Jr and allows you to build an additional 200 different circuits. It includes the SC-300 Manual with projects listed and explained.

Microcontroller Computer Systems Kit

March 17th, 2008 . by admin

Inner workings of computers are revealed through 100 engineering experiments. This kit contains all the components you need to build your own microcontroller, the “brains” of a computer. — First, assemble a circuit and write a program, following the detailed instructions in the manual. Then, upload the program to the microcontroller using an infrared interface. The program tells the microcontroller how to perform your experiment and store the data. Finally, the data stored in the microcontroller can be downloaded to the computer using the infrared interface. — The 100-page, full-color experiment manual guides your circuit assemblies and programming. Conduct experiments with light, heat and sound sensors by writing your own programs and building the circuits. You can also use the device to collect data for other experiments. — Includes carrying case. Software System Requirements: Windows 98, 2000, XP. 64 MB RAM. 5MB free hard drive space. — Requires one 9-Volt Battery (not included) or a standard Power Adapter (not included).
